How personal effects shipping works
Ocean is usually the economical choice for volume. Air is available when you need a shorter transit. Pricing is typically per cubic metre for ocean and per kilogram for air.

Plan, quote & book
Share origin, destination, and what you are shipping. We return a tailored rate and lock in space once you confirm.

Pickup or drop-off
Arrange collection from your home or facility, or deliver goods to us. We help you complete the paperwork.

Load & export
Cargo is packed and secured, moved to the port or airport, and handed to the carrier for export.

Arrival & clearance
At destination, a local broker clears the shipment. We can often arrange final delivery where available.
What to expect
Door to port, then local clearance
Most personal effects moves travel door-to-port or port-to-port. You or someone you nominate collect at the arrival terminal after customs. We can often introduce a destination agent if you want help clearing and delivering.
Terminal, customs, duty, and broker fees at destination are typically paid by the consignee. We can estimate those charges from your details so nothing arrives as a surprise.
Weights and dimensions
Boxes, totes, and sturdy bags are fine. Approximate measures are enough for a first quote.
Required forms
Export and import paperwork is completed at pickup or drop-off. We walk you through it.
Tracking
Once the shipment is booked and moving, you receive documents so you can follow it online.
Pickup person
Nominate a family member or friend at destination. We will need their contact details and ID.
