From pickup to destination

Shipping any type of vehicle, without adding the kilometres.

Global Cargo coordinates car, truck, motorcycle, collectible, and specialty vehicle moves with the same care we give household cargo. Pickup from a home or storage yard, drop-off at the destination you name, whether the vehicle is running, non-running, damaged, or oversized.

Vehicles commonly travel in a sealed container. We also book roll-on/roll-off (RORO) service and LCL or LTL when that is the better fit. International regulations and loading plans are part of the brief, not an afterthought.

Ways to ship

  • Full container (FCL)

Your vehicle travels in a sealed container. A 20′ often holds one car plus belongings; a 40′ can take more than one vehicle with proper bracing.

  • RORO

Roll-on/roll-off ocean service for running vehicles on established lanes. Often the simpler ocean option when you do not need a private container.

  • Air

Faster and less economical. Used when the schedule cannot wait on ocean transit. Also used for some motorcycles.

Vehicle types

Cars, bikes, boats, and the unusual

  • Car shipping

Ocean in a full container or on a RORO vessel. Air is available when time is the constraint.

  • Motorcycle shipping

Ocean when price matters more than speed. Air when delivery date is the priority.

  • Boat shipping

An appropriately sized container, with the vessel prepared and secured for the voyage.

  • Specialty vehicles

Oversized, damaged, non-running, farm, or race units, with loading and paperwork planned around the condition.

A good fit for

  • Personal vehicle relocations during a move
  • Dealer or auction transport
  • Vintage and collector cars
  • Temporary shipping for travellers
  • Commercial vehicle transportation
  • Non-running or oversized units
